The wedding florist gets married!

After years of doing hundreds of other peoples weddings, I finally had the huge task of organising my own. And I enjoyed every minute of it. We got married in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley and followed the country/ rustic theme. I wanted bouquets that matched this theme and went with peony roses, hydrangea, mini roses,gardenias dusty miller and david austin roses. All of my favourite flowers. I was so happy with how everything turned out, considering the bouquets were made at midnight the night before the wedding! The wedding was amazing and even though it was a huge effort to pull it all together, I couldnt have asked for a more perfect day!

Elesha has to be one of the loveliest brides I have dealt with. She and I clicked and I was so excited for her big day! Every detail was thought of and it showed. Eleshas sense of style was perfect and the whole wedding was stunning. The ceremony and reception were at Milton Park

at Bowral and I have honestly never seen a more beautiful location- from decor to amazing gardens. The bouquets consisted of roses, carnations, ranuculus, sweet peas & brazilia nut> the stems were bound with cream lace to add to the vintage feel.

I was lucky enough to do this wedding after doing the brides sisters wedding a few years ago, with only 3 weeks notice, I was a bit nervous. Luckily everything turned out beautifully. Everything was elegant and white with lots of open roses, tulips, freesias and sweet peas. It was a huge amount of work with 30 guest tables and a 7.2 metre bridal table. The end result was stylish and elegant!

I've been busy making tissue paper balls as an experiment for ceremony decorations, had a few mistakes and my little miss ruby renae got to model a prototype. She then proceed to eat the ball and then pass out with exhaustion from the intense photo shoot.

Wedding Expo

The wedding expo at the Win entertainment centre was a huge day! Lots of planning and work and then 8 hours of madness! I was so happy with my stand, it surpassed my expectations on how good it would look. Bit of a point of difference, a button bouquet! A big thankyou to my friends and family for all their help. Its to big a job for one girl! Highlight of the day - meeting elvis the wedding celebrant!

Natalie and Clints wedding was held at Gabbys at Berry. Her bouquets featured beautiful vendella, julia and sahara roses with privet berry and brown magnolia leaves. Unfortunately on the day of the wedding I was still recovering from dreaded thai tummy after returning from overseas, so I didnt get to see the Natalie in her dress. She was kind enough to email these photos to me so I can see how the day turned out, and then share with you!

Darrell and Mardee - My brothers wedding!

I had the pleasure of doing the flowers and decor for my brother and his beautiful wife Mardee's wedding on saturday. The theme was red, silver and white. We used roses and kales for the bouquets accented with pearls and crystals. The table centres were red spider orchids with magnolia branches and hanging tealights. The day was rainy but no one noticed with how beautiful everything looked. Congratulations guys!!!

Julieann and Clint were such a fun couple, which shows through in their photos. The very talented John Benavente captured their day beautifully and artistically. Julieann basically said "do whatever you think will look good" and I was thrilled with how everything came out. Her bouquets were of columbian roses, lisianthus and pieris.

Erin and Michael were married on the 13th feb 2010. Their wedding was a classic and stylish affair with tone of ivory, gold and brown. I used lots of David Austin roses, lisianthus and sahara and julia roses with gold magnolia leaves. They also indulged their guests with a lolly buffet which I believe was a big hit at the end of the night!

Tess and Paul were a really lovely young couple I had the pleasure of providing flowers for their wedding day. Tess put a lot of thought into the finer details of everything, and it really paid off.

Flowers used were roses, lisianthus, privet berry, freesia.

Testimonial - thanyou for such a lovely job of our wedding flowers. They were just beautiful and many of our quests commented on them. I especially loved the candelabra arrangements- they were so unique. I love how you listened to our ideas and then prodeuced something even better than I imagined.
